Facilities Coordinator

Hola! I’m German, the Facilities Coordinator here at Bon Air Baptist Church. My family and I have been church members since 2013 and I’ve been on staff since 2017. Bon Air Baptist is more than my church, it is my home and I treat and take care of everything like I would my own house, and put “extra” into everything I do. I also try to solely complete projects so that I can save money for our church.
While in Mexico, I graduated from High School and attended college before serving in the Army for three years. I met my wife Veronica in the service and we were married two months later. We arrived in the United States in 2003, and I worked in construction, as a chef for several restaurants, and for a landscaping company. This experience led me to own my own landscaping business, today, which is licensed and certified. I am also CPR-certified.
Veronica started attending BABC with our two oldest children and i had not yet found a church. Raised in the Catholic faith, it was a life-changing decision to be re-baptized and join Bon Air Baptist Church, the Suburban Village campus, where they had a Spanish-speaking Pastor. We eventually joined the main church campus on Buford Road where we used translator headphones to understand and learn the English language.
Veronica and I have raised four wonderful children, one son and three daughters, and a chihuahua and we are all members of BABC. Except for the chihuahua.
For fun, I enjoy basketball and soccer. I love traveling to the mountains, especially in West Virgina, and the beach.
Some of the bigger projects I’ve completed around Bon Air Baptist Church include constructing the landscape timber around the children’s playground. And, painting the entire church interior while we were closed because of Covid. I welcome you to reach out to me anytime!
