Chain Reaction | Cycling Life Group

We skew fellowship over speed, so don’t think you gotta be a trail pro. Note that Chain Reaction will be primarily a Cap Trail group but will also tackle other terrains for added spice and strength.

Saturday: April 27th: Capital Trail (Herring Creek Trailhead), 10:30 a.m., heading east, 20 or so miles total, lunch at Indian Fields restaurant (RSVP a must so we can reserve tables).

Saturday, May 11th: Cap2Cap mega event. Signup required along with modest fee used for Trail support. Need some feedback quickly on this, since there is much flexibility on distances and how we could ride as a group. We will likely go 25 miles, but open to possibility of full distance of 51.4 miles if the mood strikes the group.

Contact Steve Guthrow with any questions and help us grow this intrepid band with friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. Shoot me contact info for those around you that might like to join us. Happy Trails . . .

Life Group Dig In

Dig In | Gardening Life Group

When gardeners garden, it is not just plants that grow, but the gardeners themselves ~ Ken Druse

Next Event:

Plant Exchange | May 18 | 10:00 a.m. | BABC Parking Lot

How does it work?  Please bring healthy plants or seedling from your garden to share.  Exchange those and take home some new plants to enjoy.

How do I prepare?  Start now by identifying what plants you will bring.  Mark the plants with the name and preferred growing conditions.  No invasive plants please.

What if I don’t have plants to share?  Please join us anyway as there will be a table of “free” plants, door prizes, and a “Ask a Gardner” table.

Is there a cost?  No it’s a free event, but please message me to sign up by 5/16 so we can ensure we have space for everyone.

How can I help?  If you can volunteer to help set up, greet, or clean up afterwards, please let me know.

Should be a fun morning of plants and networking with fellow gardeners.  See you there!

Do you have a green thumb and a love for gardening?  Join “Dig In” as it takes bloom -- creating plant exchanges, visiting gardens, and addressing community service needs.
