Give All Year

The Domestic Missions offering at BABC is a year-long offering with a goal of $100,000 to support initiatives in and around our campuses and in eight other organizations that share our vision of A Place to Belong... A Place to Become!

Where Does the Money Go?

Gifts to Domestic Missions go to help initiatives in RVA and beyond! When you give, you participate not only in the work of BABC but that of eight extraordinary partners working to change the world around us.

Our Strategic Partners

Bon Air Baptist Church

45% of the Domestic Missions offering supports BABC missions activities in our community, supporting teachers, teen moms and our ESL ministry to name a few.

The V3 Movement

14%: The V3 church planting movement exists to help start disciple-making churches that are a sign, foretaste, and instrument of God’s kingdom. They provide the latest resources and expertise in church planting.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

10%: The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO) is the primary way we support mission efforts in North America. One hundred percent of gifts given to AAEO are used to support Southern Baptist missionaries serving across the United States and Canada.

Alma Hunt offering for Virginia missions

10%: The Alma Hunt offering provides funding for all Woman’s Missionary Union of Virginia (WMUV) missions and ministries including the BABC WMU. The offering makes possible special ministries, outreach projects, and initiatives that aren't funded through regular streams of giving, but that are uniquely connected to Virginia Baptists.

CARITAS

10%: The CARITAS Center helps men and women find a path to recovery. BABC also creates welcome home buckets, builds tables for families coming out of homelessness, and will help feed the 300 people at the new facility, host game nights, Bible studies, and more.

Kairos initiative (BCM Virginia)

5%: Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) Collegiate Ministry programs exist on many campuses, and their state-wide programs like conferences and retreats build communities of faith and provide opportunities for service.

Uptick (Spence Network)

2%: Uptick invests in young adults, aged 24-33, who will be future leaders in the BGAV.

Eastern Shore (BGAV)

2%: Associations and churches on the Eastern Shore partner with churches and volunteers in local construction, social ministry, backyard Bible clubs, and outreach. BABC students and adults will go on mission to serve there throughout the year.

Focus on Domestic Missions in March

Though Bon Air Baptist Church (BABC) gives to and supports Domestic Missions throughout the year, we take time each March to emphasize and focus on Domestic and Local Missions by providing information and resources as well as connections to partners doing God's work in the community.
