When our community calls out for help, we answer as the hands and feet of Jesus.

Help support our weekly food distribution by donating canned goods, pasta, cereal and more.

Donations accepted on Sundays in the lobby and on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at the drive thru, Door #26, 2:30-4:30 p.m.

AFGHAN FAMILY RESETTLEMENT

We are welcoming our newest neighbors and assisting the IRC (International Rescue Committee) with moving families into their new homes and with other basic needs.

Bridging RVA connects people to advance the common good in our community. Initiatives include 150 Beds for 150 Kids, Christmas Day Dinner for those in need and serving Title I Schools.

Habitat for Humanity offers hope through safe and affordable homes, breaking the cycle of poverty for many families. We serve with area congregations through the Unity Build and are building two homes in Richmond.

Serve with us on Friday, July 22, 10am-2pm in the Re-Store on Mall Drive, ages 14 and up

or on Friday, August 19, 8am-3pm on a home building project, ages 16 and up

          

Bon Air Baptist Church VA Disaster Relief
DISASTER RESPONSE TRAINING
Be ready to serve when disasters strike nearby areas. On-line training and orientaion is provided and required for participating in Disaster Response trips.
Disaster Relief volunteers are needed in the Eastern Shore July 24-30 for Impact projects. There will be feeding and construction projects and you can receive initial training there.  Email missions@bonairbaptist.org if interested.
Huguenot

Serve the students at Huguenot High School through the Falcon Food Pantry and Clothes Closet.

              Serve with us the second Wednesday of each month during the school year.

Young Lives invites teen moms to experience life the way God designed it to be lived through mentoring, prayer, club events, and camp retreats.

The Healing Place for Men and for Women, meeting the needs of the homeless and those recovering from addiction.

If you are interested in volunteering on a more regular basis, email missions@bonairbaptist.org to learn about Helping Hands. Shifts to assist the support staff at the shelters are 7-11am, 11am-3pm or 3-7pm.  Various duties of gathering supplies, assisting with meals, the clothing closet and coordinating on-site appointments are needed.
