About the Koinonia Class

Koinonia is a large class with couples and single adults that maintains Care Groups of 8-10 people per group. The first fifteen minutes of class (9:15-9:30) are devoted to prayer, praises, and requests, followed by one hour of Bible study. This class uses Explore the Bible, a Lifeway series that focuses on one to two books of the Old and New Testaments each quarter. This class meets in person, with some members participating virtually. Class members are very supportive of local mission projects throughout the year.

Explore the Bible, Fall 2025: Numbers & Deuteronomy

As road trips wind down, travelers start thinking about the work waiting for them back home. The ancient Israelites were no exception. The books of Numbers and Deuteronomy recount how the nation of Israel wandered in the wilderness for four decades and how God taught them to be His people as they approached the promised land. He wanted to remind them how much still needed to be done once they got “home.” As you study these final two books of the Pentateuch, ask God to show you what He longs to accomplish in you and through you. Learn how to avoid a life of spiritual wandering and embrace the best He has to offer. (13 sessions)
