The U.S. Army Women’s Museum is the only museum in the entire world dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the contributions of women to the U.S. Army. The museum tells the amazing story of brave female patriots who have served our nation from the American Revolution to present day.
The U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum collects and preserves the history of the Quartermaster Corps. Since 1775 Quartermasters have provided logistical support to the Army from supplying clothing, food, and fuel, to aerial delivery of supplies including horses and mules. Included in the exhibits is the nation’s first 50 star flag, General Grant’s saddle, General Patton’s WWII jeep, and General Eisenhower’s field quarters.
The U.S. Army Ordnance Museum showcases both American and foreign military ordnance. Many unique artifacts relate to the history of the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps.
Lunch will be at Longstreet’s in Petersburg (pay on your own)
