Maymont Mansion Tour

Note: Registration deadline September 9. Let’s celebrate Maymont’s 100th anniversary as a public park!

We will enjoy a private one hour guided presentation of the first and second floors of the mansion that recently reopened after two years of restoration work. We will also have access to the below-stairs area for self-guided exploration following the tour.

This community treasure was gifted to Richmond by James and Sallie Dooley in 1926. Built in 1893, the 13,000 square-foot, 33 room mansion is filled with fine art and decorative objects collected by the Dooleys while traveling the world.

Please note that as the Maymont Mansion is a historical building access to the first and second floors is by stairs (not ADA accessible).

The below-stairs area is accessible via stairs or a ramp.

Lunch stop will be at Can Can Brasserie (pay on your own) in Carytown, known for its Parisian bistro atmosphere.
