What started in 1982 as an urgent need to teach English to women refugees from Vietnam, now is a ministry reaching English learners from over 20 different languages.

We will find a place for you in one of our language or U.S. Citizenship classes. You'll be welcomed and guided by our passionate, trained teachers.
Take An English as a Second Language (ESL) Class
In-person classes at
Bon Air Baptist Church

Monday morning: 9:30-11:30 am. (Closed)
Wednesday evening: 6:00-7:15 pm.
Registration for classes is now open. ESL classes end May 15, 2024.
*Classes are Free to attend, $15 book fee
*U.S. Citizenship classes are also offered during the same times.

ESL follows the Chesterfield County Public Schools calendar for holidays and inclement weather.

ESL Childcare
Child care is offered on Monday mornings for children up to age 5.
On Wednesday night, child care is offered and children of all ages are invited to be a part of our MidWeek Kids program or Student Ministry.
