As part of Bon Air Baptist Church's mission, PrimeTimers was created by former Pastor, Norman Burnes, who envisioned people over the age of 50 coming together every month for Christian fellowship and to build new friendships. PrimeTimers ministers to the spiritual and emootional needs of its members and improves their quality of life by providing a time and space for making new connections, having fun, and expressing love to others as our Lord intended.

Supercharge your 2026 by joining the BABC Pathfinders for a “First Day Hike” in beautiful Ashland, VA.
The crew will check out the northern end of the new Fall Line Trail with a several-mile level terrain trek before grabbing some lunch nearby. Meet 10 a.m., Thursday, January 1st at the Carter Park lot at Ashcake Road and Maple Street. Please RSVP to steveguthrow19@yahoo.com and see you there!

Join Steve and Tina Guthrow as Bon Air Baptist’s Pathfinders life group explores the RVA and beyond, one hike at a time, at a comfortable pace conducive for enjoying scenery and good fellowship. The Pathfinders meet at various locations and cover short distances of a few miles to more hefty hikes of 10-plus miles on occasion. Great exercise; Bring family, friends, neighbors. Chain Reaction - Cycling Life Group

Our cycling life group is focused on utilizing the Capital Trail and several other great trails in the area. Friends, families, neighbors, and co-workers are encouraged and welcomed. Fun, fellowship, and health are the goals.

We skew fellowship over speed, so don’t think you gotta be a trail pro. Note that Chain Reaction will be primarily a Cap Trail group but will also tackle other terrains for added spice and strength.

BABC's Recreation Ministry has open Pickleball Play from 12:00-3:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays in the gym.

Pickleball at BABC: “It’s a Big Dill”

Pickleball has been part of the Bon Air Baptist DNA for more than a decade and continues to capture the sports-minded with creation of the new “It’s a Big Dill” Life Group.

Players will meet at the beautiful new Pickleball courts at Huguenot Park (on the Johnson Willis backside), 4:30 each Monday for what promises to be some spirited competition. All skill levels are welcome for this tremendous time of learning and fellowship. Perfect venue to learn the unique paddle game that is taking America by storm.

Ladies' Bible Study | Bible-Based Discussion

A Ladie's Bible Study will be meeting in room 208 from 11:00-12:30 on Monday mornings weekly, starting September 15. A small, intimate group that will be going through the stories of the Old Testament chronologically and where appropriate, hooking the content to New Testament scripture. Who says the OT is irrelevant!
The Bible is our text.
