Receptionist
I am Lynda Richardson, Receptionist for Bon Air Baptist Church for 25 years. I provide information to church members, guests, and staff on the many avenues of the church office. Each day brings enjoyment as I answer questions that come via phone, in person, and emails. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to be working with a hard-working team, and helping our members who are always so pleasant to talk with and are always so appreciative.
Before working at Bon Air Baptist Church, my career included being a dental assistant, a teacher assistant, and secretarial and receptionist positions.
My one son, daughter-in-law, and three granddaughters live in Pennsylvania, and we enjoy our visits several times a year. I love listening to country music, going to plays and concerts, and playing pickleball, outdoor games, board games, and charades with family and friends. In my young adult years, I enjoyed playing softball.
I enjoyed performing when I was younger. When in grade school during the summer, one of my sisters, our two best neighborhood friends, and I would put on a circus performing tricks on roller skates and doing gymnastic moves. We even had grab-bags for the boys and girls that came to watch us. Even to see such overwhelming talent, admission was free! Actually, when I was very young I wanted to join a circus and be the flying trapeze person.
