Organist

My music career began in the United Kingdom as a 7-year-old chorister at Salisbury Cathedral and since those days’ music has taken me to all parts of the globe. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, I was honored with the letters ARAM (Associate Royal Academy of Music) for my services to music. Having trained as an international opera singer and concert and recitalist, I also focused on my keyboard skills and continued to study the piano and organ which has led me to offer my skills and musicianship as director of church music programs up and down the East Coast in all denominations of the church. My teachers and mentors have included the likes of English organists Colin Walsh and Christopher Moore, and in the US I've had workshops with Robert McCormick, and Charles Lindsey to name a couple. I'm Charles Humphries, and I'm excited to be the organist at Bon Air Baptist Church.
