The league does fill up so register early for the early bird price!  \n\n\n\nLeague – Coed for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 6th grade \n\n\n\nCost – $135 before October 15th\, $145 after October 15th ($10 discount with each additional sibling) \n\n\n\nMission – To use basketball as a platform to develop character\, build community\, and share the love of Christ with every child and family who participates \n\n\n\nKindergarten League – Practice and play on Saturday mornings in January and February \n\n\n\n1st-6th Grade League – Practice one night a week starting December 7\, 2026.  \n\n\n\nEvaluations – Once registered\, ALL players must sign up to attend ONE evaluation. These evaluations are used to create competitive teams \n\n\n\nRequests – Families can make one request (Either a practice night exclusion OR a mutual carpool request) Please do not ask for multiple players \n\n\n\nCoaches – We like to have two co-coaches (no more) per team\, and we are always in need of coaches. Coaching shirt\, practice plans\, and training included \n\n\n\nReferees – Come referee with us! We need volunteer refs – high school age or up! DESCRIPTION:Return to Recreation\n\n\n\n\n\n\n				\n					\n				\n			\n\n\nMonday\, October 26 \n\n\n\n8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. \n\n\n\n\n\n				\n					\n\n				\n			\n\n\nMariners’ Museum \n\n\n\n100 Museum DriveNewport News\, VA \n\n\n\n\n\n				\n					\n\n				\n			\n\n\n$15 per Person \n\n\n\nIncludes admission and transportation \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Link\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Mariners’ Museum and Park in Newport News is designated as America’s National Maritime Museum by Congress.  \n\n\n\nIt features extensive collections on maritime history\, art\, and technology\, including the USS Monitor Center where the turret and cannon from the famous Civil War ironclad can be seen.  \n\n\n\nFrom inspiring stories of mariners who risked it all for freedom to true tales of man conquering the wild seas\, indoor galleries will spark curiosity\, wonder\, and an appreciation for our shared maritime heritage.  \n\n\n\nWe will enjoy a docent led highlights tour followed by lunch on site in the Column 15 Cafe (pay on your own) as well as a film.
